FDIC Makes Public July Enforcement Actions; No Administrative Hearings Scheduled for September 2012

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) today released a list of orders of administrative enforcement actions taken against banks and individuals in July. No administrative hearings are scheduled for September 2012.
The FDIC issued a total of 56 orders in July. The orders included: five consent orders; 12 removal and prohibition orders; 13 civil money penalties; three prompt corrective actions; eight section 19 orders; one modification of consent order; and 14 orders terminating consent orders and cease and desist orders.
