On Saturday, July 28th, we're hosting a digital organizing and data training for volunteers. I hope you can be there, because connecting with voters online -- and keeping track of our work so far -- are critical parts of how we'll win this election.

We'll discuss the ins and outs of using Facebook, Twitter, and other digital media to support our efforts for 2012. We'll learn how to talk with our friends and families about the accomplishments President Obama and other Democrats have made, as well as how to recruit new volunteers to help build our campaign. We'll also talk about the ways we use data to support grassroots events all around California, and how data coordinators play an important role in our success at phone banks and other events.

What: Digital organizing and data training

Where: Los Angeles

When: Saturday, July 28th
Data training from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Digital organizing training from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.



If you're new to digital organizing and data work, we'll help you get your bearings. And if you're more experienced, we hope you'll share your best techniques for moving this campaign forward.

From now until Election Day, we need to do everything we can in California to talk about the progress we've made, from bringing our combat troops home from Iraq to reforming Wall Street and signing the Affordable Care Act into law. Digital organizing is a great way to spread the word and mobilize our own networks.
